This large thick-shelled gourd features an English Springer Spaniel and a black Labrador Retriever. The other two scenes surrounding this bowl are Mallard ducks on a pond and Gambel quail in the Sonoran Desert. The entire bowl features deep relief carving and painted with Designer Gouache.

Mountain Gorilla

Sonoran Desert Bobcat

This gourd piece features a Southern Arizona Bobcat with a background of the rugged Sonoran Desert. The cat is pyro-etched and carved. Designer Gouache paints and permanent inks were used for the entire scene. The remainder of the piece is stained. The gourd is mounted on a stained wood base.
