Ken Huth’s reflections of mid nineteenth century life in the American West stems from his love of history and the many years living in the great Southwest.
A New York State native, he moved to Tucson with family at an early age. Ken majored in Art and Graphic Design at the University of Arizona and spent the next thirty years creating paintings, graphics, models and custom furnishings in the corporate world. After his retirement in 2004, Ken has chosen to devote his full time efforts to creating his depictions of the life and times of cowboys, cavalry soldiers, Native Americans and wildlife from around the world.
Gourd art offers a vast array of mediums in which to work. Relief carving, pyro-etching, painting, staining and just about anything the imagination can devise keeps his creative juices flowing.
