The gourd art you see on my web site requires the same care you would give any other fine piece of artwork. Although gourds are tough, when turned in objects of art they should be handled carefully.

Select a suitable display area for your gourd art that is safe from children and pets. The artwork should never be left or stored in very hot or very cold temperatures, and do not leave in direct sunlight for a prolonged period of time.

The gourd art I create should never be used to hold liquids or food items. These pieces are not finished with paints and protective sprays that would make them suitable as functional tools.
